About our Mousery
We are a small mousery in Wichita, Ks. We pride ourselves on having beautiful, tame and loving mice. We breed for better looking and longer lasting pets. We are not against feeders, however, we do not sell or breed our mice for feeding. All of our mice are loved pets. Our mice live in the equivalent of a mouse hotel. We have several different cages and set ups with lots of different toys and things to hide in, climb on, and chew. They have hand mixed food daily that contains not only the occasional treat, but plenty of vitamins and nutrients. Their food is changed a little bit every day to ensure that they have a variety. Our cages are cleaned weekly and are stocked with a mixture of different types of bedding. This (in my opinion) not only keeps it interesting but allows for the mice to pick and choose what they build their nests out of and also allows for a more “natural” feel. If they are able, all of my mice get at least one companion so they can play and be social. If a mouse proves to be more of a “loner” then he/she gets their own special cage, and lots of extra attention from me! Any mouse that is adopted out is always welcomed back if there are any problems. No questions asked. I’d rather take them back than have another alternative happen. When you adopt a mouse, I will give you a special care sheet with some basic instructions on care giving and some specific info about the mouse you’ve just adopted. (likes, dislikes, allergies, personality traits) and a contact email in case you ever have a question.
