TinyFeet Mousery Policies for Adoption

1. We do not adopt out Bucks and Does together unless you are a proven Breeder that has been cleared by us.

2. We only adopt out one buck at a time unless you have the appropriate amount of housing for each buck. Bucks CANNOT be housed together.

3. We will not adopt out does individually unless you can provide evidence that the Doe will have company with another mouse. Mice are social creatures and need companionship. Does are adopted in pairs.

4. None of our mice are to be bred without our expressed permission. We will have a contract that you are required to sign upon adopting one of our mice.

5. Our prefix "TF" is to remain in front of the mouse's name whenever referred to on paper or websites and when shown in a mouse and rodent show. You can change the mouse's name for when it is at home, but the name we give it must remain its "legal" name for record keeping purposes.

6. You must be able to take your mouse to a vet should the need arise.

7. Should your mouse become ill or pass away we are the first to know so that records can be updated. Good book keeping is what keeps our lines of mice healthy and longer living. Occasionally we will contact you to ask how the mice are and if you have any questions.

8. Pedigree's of your mouse/mice will be made available to you upon adoption. We will also happily show you a pedigree before adoption if you wish.

9. Should something unforeseen happen and you need to get rid of the mice, we are the FIRST place you contact. We will accept any of our mice back into the mousery at any given time. At NO time should the mice be given to anyone but the original adopter unless with permission from us first.

10. We will not adopt to anyone under the age of 18 without written permission by the legal guardians of that person.

11. TinyFeet reserves the right to deny adoption to ANYONE that is deemed unfit for animal care. This could be for any number of reasons and is at our discretion. We are also fully able to cancel any approved adoption at any time for any reason.

12. All female mice regardless of type are $8.00. All male mice are $6.00. Price goes down with the purchase of more than the set limit (EX: more than 1 buck, more than 2 does) We do keep waiting lists for particular typed mice. Contact us for more info.

No respectable mousery will ever "make money" from breeding mice. That isn't why we do it, but the money we receive for our mice does help off set some cost. Our prices have gone up do to the numerous trips we have taken across the country to insure the best quality stock for breeding. It is also to guarantee that our potiential adopters are serious about adopting the mice. The price you pay with us may be higher than the petstore, but we guarantee you correctly sexed, tame and healthy mice. Certainly that is a commodity that you do not get at a pet store. We also guarantee our mice for 1 year from date of birth. Do realize that sometimes things happen because that is the nature of life. But if a mouse dies of natural causes, and not because of reckless care, within the first year of life, we will gladly replace that mouse for free. We know that doesn't stop the hurt of losing a pet, but we try to do our part to help. Remember this motto: "You get what you pay for".

Why Mice?

Mice are adorable small pets that don’t take up a lot of room. They are easily tamed and can be great companions. Mice are cuddly, inquisitive creatures and love to play! Sometimes its just fun to set up new surroundings and watch them explore. They are very clean animals and require you to only clean their cage once a week. No bath needed or litter box scooped!
